Supporters of the political left in Wales will be gathering in Pontypridd next weekend (November 26-27) for the 4th biennial Communist University of Wales. 
Bydd cefnogwyr y Chwith Wleidyddol yng Nghymru yn ymgasglu ym Mhontypridd ypenwythnos nesaf (Tachwedd 26-27) argyfer 4edd Prifysgol Gomiwnyddol Cymru Cynhelir y Brifysgol bob yn ail flwyddyn.

The university begins on Friday with the Gwyn Alf Williams Memorial Lecture (Clwb y Bont, 7pm).  The lecture entitled Europe run in the interests of Big Business and the Bankers  will be given by John Foster, Professor of Applied Social Sciences at Paisley University.
The main body of the university will follow on Saturday (November 27) in the YMCA Pontypridd.  This session will begin at 9.30 with a lecture on Marx and Religion by Brian Williams, Executive Committee member of the Welsh Communist Party.
Also in the morning Sian Hawys will give a lecture on Cymdeithas Niclas (The Nicholas Society).  T. E. Nicholas was a Welsh language poet, communist activist, Congregational minister and dentist.
Sian Cartwright of the Wales TUC will chair a forum on Resisting the Condem Cutswithpanellists Owen Smith, MP for Pontypridd, Plaid Cymru AM Nerys Evans and Rick Newnham, Secretary of the Welsh Communist Party.
After lunch there will be a discussion between John Foster and Rob Griffiths, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Britain, on Nation, Class and The Welsh Referendum.
