MAJOR DEMONSTRATION IN LONDON: Commemorate the life of Altab Ali Print E-mail

Over forty organisations have come together - ranging from religious and community groups to political parties, trade unions and anti racist organisations, including the United Platform Against Racism and Fascism, the Tower Hamlets Labour Party and the Communist Party to organise a mass demonstration in the east end of London to commemorate the life of Altab Ali. Altab was a textile worker murdered by racists and he has become a beacon for anti fascism and anti racism in the area.

The demonstration is in May. You can download the flyer here. Show your support. Attend the demonstration with workmates and bring your organisation banner. 

 
HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY: Crowds pay respects to Holocaust victims Print E-mail

CABLE STREET: March demands unity in action against fascism Print E-mail

Now online, a photographic record of the 75th anniversary march and rally against fascism. Veterans of the Battle, including one who was 105 years old, led a call, echoed by union leaders and community groups for a new level of unity of action and purpose against the fascists.
