Peoples_Charter_logoThe People's Charter represents a real opportunity to draw together the struggles and campaigns of the working class and progressive movements. Published here, a primer on how to get the campaign started locally. It also has the potential to engage the wider working class in a co-ordinated campaign against the priorities of big business capital and for democratic social advance.  This will be particularly important if we are to successfully challenge the ruling class offensive which is already underway.  The Party's work throughout 2010 will be guided by the priority of building a real movement around the charter, in the workplace and in the community.  The work of Party organisations and activists will be crucial to making this movement a reality, since experience has shown that getting only where the Party has taken the initiative does not at least do the initial work and the purpose of this guide is to suggest ways in which you can get the ball rolling.
